I haven’t done any kind of patrol in a long time, so I don’t think this is meant for me, but I know with crime up, the Down can probably use it.

Time is a little weird for me. I want to say like two and a half years? They brought me here when I was 18. But then sent me back home for 6 years—- well technically 131 years, but I was frozen for 125 years.

It might be kind of tough. Everyone I met so far is either another dom or already contracted.

I'm familiar with that kind of thing. But frozen?

The Dom thing you can technically get around if you’re sneaky enough. I had an 8 month relationship with one. And most people have open relationships regarding their contracts. I’ve only known a few people that only slept with their contract partner.

Cryo. Closest planet was over 100 years away.

You don't get citations for sleeping with contracted subs? There are a lot of rules here, I might be mixing some up.

Only they would if they were breaking their contract with their Dominant. Like specifically if their contract said they could not sleep with anyone else/ any other Doms. Most people don’t have that though. Like I think I can only think of one or two people in the two and halfish years I’ve been here that I heard that had that. This place kind of makes it hard to be monogamous after all.

Because we destroyed Earth with war. Turns out a planet can’t handle three nuclear apocalypses.

Don’t worry. There’s a lot of rules, and a lot of pressure on Doms about it. I get it.

Early 21st century global warming was serious. It just got worse when a rogue AI thought ending the world would solve its issues. That was before my time though. I only experienced the second and final ones.

I take it from your earlier comment that you're a Dom too?

That's when I'm from -- early 21st century. But you survived two nuclear apocalypses? That sounds like hell. Where'd you guys wind up going that was 100 years away?

They brought me here at 18 as a submissive. Then before the Creator was mayor, he was kind of a big shot business owner. He had a few of us switched when we all stayed in his hotel. Few months later they sent me back home for 6 years/ 131 years. So I’m a Dom now, but one of the few thats had a designation switch.

It’s a moon we started colonizing right around the time of the first apocalypse. It’s called Sanctum.

Interesting. They made it sound like you couldn't switch, just get realigned.

So it's had colonists for at least 131 years? How'd they do with the terraforming?

You can’t really. It was special circumstances. I didn’t even ask for it. It just happened.

The first team went there in the mid 21st century so it’s been about two and a half centuries or so. We only just got there within 12 hours when they pulled me back here. And that was over a year and a half ago for me. So details are a little fuzzy.

No. My partner was killed upon landing. Radiation, but he saved the landing party from dying.

I'm so sorry. I'm glad he was able to save people, though.

It was hard coming back here; trying to grieve here is impossible.

Probably could have used you like a year and a half ago. I'm okay now, I guess. More or less used to it now.
